Software Engineer - Debugger Tool Development - Permanent - Thames Valley

A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer to join a talented team of design engineers who specialise in developing embedded tools. As a successful engineer, you will work on multiple projects focusing on the development of IDE based tools, specifically on the debugger aspects of the IDE. If you have previous experience of working for a semiconductor tools development team, this would be highly advantageous.

You will meet most or all of the following profile to be successful in this role:

* Strong C++ skills

* Previous experience of embedded C and microcontroller design

* Appreciation of debugger tool development and integration with in-circuit emulators

* Windows development tool experience (Microsoft Visual Studio)

* Full development lifecycle experience

* Strong communication skills

This would suit an Embedded Software Engineer who has experience of writing code for microcontrollers as well as application level software development such as OOD and C++.

Strong understanding of the tools used by embedded engineers is key.
