Software Engineer - Embedded C - Aviation - DO178B

Software Engineer (Embedded C) required for a leading Aviation company based in Cheltenham to support the development of a Power Distribution Product for a business jet.

The DO-178B Level A Product goes through a full software life cycle in 9 to 12 months and the first project is in the verification stages, whilst the second project has only begun the planning phase.

This first project requires a Software/Systems Engineer, who is capable and comfortable working with software on a Microprocessor, debugging code and if required updating tests. Seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to cover the bottom of the 'V' life cycle, whilst adopting and understanding the systems point of view. You will have the opportunity to move across to work on the second project afterwards if interested.

- Good full V software life cycle experience
- Experience in Safety Critical software
