Software Engineer Driver Validation

*CORE DRIVER VALIDATION FOR ANDROID*

In this role, the candidate will work with the newest technologies associated with Processor-Graphics. This includes working with Development and Validation Architecture to research how new capabilities will function to come up with effective end user usages that will help you define innovative Validation Strategies. You will then build plans, design, and develop tools/harnesses that interact with one of the largest software factories in the world, analyze and debug the results of your tests, then work with Development to close whatever issues you found. This is all with the goal of ensuring that our Processor-Graphics drivers are of the highest possible quality when company takes them to market.

REQUIREMENTS

- Excellent C software development experience
- Good knowledge of C++
- Intermediate Java knowledge and experience
- Some knowledge of Android
- Good debugging skills and experience
- Experience working on Linux/Unix
- Experience with source control tools like Perforce/ClearCase, etc.
- Familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), code reviews, etc.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with Android, Assembly language, Java
- General graphics skills, 3D or media
- Test planning and development, ie validation life cycle experience
