Software Engineer Distributed Configuration Mgmt

Your primary mission will be to assist the tooling team in the implementation and rollout of Microsoft Team Foundation Server to our development community.

You will:
- Install and configure the product
- Setup an adequate source code control and versioning process
- Determine the quality policies
- Implement the process template
- Set up the Build process
- Setup an adequate disaster recovery and monitoring process
- Implement the Security and privileges in line with Euroclear expectations.
- Put in place the reporting and analysis

Occasionally, you will also assist in other activities performed within the distributed configuration management team, such as:
- Analysing .NET build failures
- Maintenance of the virtual builder infrastructure
- Development support to colleagues in the Tooling Services team

PROFILE:

Must have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in VB.NET
- Minimum 3 years experience Visual Studio 2010
- Minimum 1 year experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010

Technical Skills and Background:
You have an IT degree, computer science or related field (graduate Bachelor, Engineering or Master) or equivalent by experience
- You have a background in Microsoft oriented development with an in-depth knowledge of Visual Studio
- You have experience in setting up Microsoft Team Foundation Server for a large user-base
- You possess notions of windows server and architecture (clustering, load balancing)
- You have proven programming knowledge in VB.NET and C#

Desirable skills:
- Knowledge or experience with different Source control/revision systems is a plus (Clearcase, SVN)
- Basic knowledge of Unix commands and Perl programming are assets.
- Past experiences in integrating a software product in the application development life cycle are an added value
