Our organization:
Division:
The Tooling Services team is part of the Application Development Division. It is our primary mission to define, implement and maintain tools supporting the software delivery life cycle.

Your part of the deal:
We are looking for a Team Foundation Server & Build Farm Administrator. Your mission will be to assist the Distributed Tooling team in the maintenance and the implementation of improvements on Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2015 to our development community.
With the other members of the team you will:
- Collaborate with development teams to collect their requirements regarding the evolution of the tools
- Upgrade and configure the product
- Improve and implement build process (XAML and vNext)
- Improve the disaster recovery and monitoring process
- Improve the security and privileges in line with the company expectations
- Improve the reporting and analysis
- Improve the package management process (Nugets, Maven, Cran, )
- Improve the source code control and versioning process
- Improve the quality policies
- Improve the process template
- Analyse .NET build failures
- Maintain and improve the virtual builder infrastructure
- Share your expertise with colleagues in the Distributed Tooling team

Your Profile:
Technical Skills:
- IT degree, computer science or related field (graduate Bachelor, Engineering or Master) or equivalent by experience
- Background in Microsoft oriented development with an in-depth knowledge of Visual Studio
- Experience in setting up Microsoft Team Foundation Server for a large user-base
- Notions of Windows and Linux server and architecture (clustering, load balancing, installation)
- Proven programming knowledge in VB.NET and C#

Soft skills:
- Strong analytical skills, you recognize underlying issues and problems, you can make root-cause/impact analysis to define a solution and properly document the conclusion
- Critical mindset and a natural risk averse attitude
- Strong process-minded attitude with affinity for change and configuration management allowing you to assess a correct balance between the development delivery needs and production stability
- Like to work in a structural information organization and have a self-learning attitude to learn new tools and committed to delivery and increasing own expertise
- Customer focused, you have a good team spirit, a pro-active mindset and an effective approach to achieve objectives
- Strong communicator and negotiator
- Good command of English (French and Dutch are assets)

Assets
- Past experiences configuring Windows server, SQL Server, Linux server
- Basic knowledge of Unix commands and Perl programming
- Knowledge or experience with different source control/revision systems (GIT, Clearcase,...)
- Knowledge or experience with Nuget, Maven or Gradle
- Experience working in SCRUM team
- Past experiences in integrating a software product in the application development life cycle
- Past experiences as lead developer or configuration manager
