SOFTWARE ENGINEER - DESIGN AUTOMATION needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client in Portland, OR.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Software Engineer to conduct in cross-functional research and collaboration in the design, development, and deployment of productivity enhancement tools.
- Software Engineer will identify and determine user needs and tool enhancements to improve productivity and design efficiencies by providing robust software solutions and tools.
- Software engineer will develop and deliver complete software solutions which meet or exceed requirements, are intuitive, robust, and of high quality.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, CS or related subject matter.
- MINIMUM of five (5) plus years of recent experience developing custom tools
- Strong C++, Perl, Perl/Tk, and Unix Scripting skills
- Experienced developing and deploying design automation tools
- Experience in developing design tools automation and Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool knowledge
- Knowledge of Windows* 7* and Windows* 8* operating systems

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, CS or related subject matter.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing
- Familiar with EDA tools
