Software Engineer (C#, Python)

Software Engineer for PRISMAsync Test Automation Team.

During the development of the PRISMAsync printer controller, the quality of the complete system is an important aspect. To be able to monitor and keep the quality at a desired level tests are executed manually as well as automatically. For the PRISMAsync printer controller a framework is developed and maintained to be able to run and execute automatic tests on a controller system level. The team exists out of 3 people.

Position's main tasks:

The automatic testing framework roughly contains of two parts:
- A Front End which enables writing test cases in a keyword-based domain specific language which is translated into calls and checks on the controller.
- A Back End infrastructure which ensures the execution of the test cases after each iteration of the software, and reporting of the test results.

Tasks and responsibilities of the Test Automation Team include:

- Extending Front End of the framework to be able to keep track of new functionality development within the controller.
- Extending Back End of the framework to be able to extend the possibilities of testing, eg new hardware setups, different test sets etc.
- Maintaining the Front End of the framework to keep it fit to the needs of the developers and the changes within the controller.
- Maintaining the Back End infrastructure of the framework to keep the test systems up to date and running 24/7.
- Support controller developers with test case development and analysis of test case failures.

Need to have:

- Software Engineer
- Bachelor
- 3-5 years of experience with software engineering in a technical environment
- Experience with Python and C#
- Affinity with system level testing
- Pro-active, show initiative, work independent
- Good verbal and written skills in Dutch and English
- Try and "Can do" attitude
- Must feel comfortable to adhere to formal processes
- Able to recognize and judge interests of other teams in order to create win-win situations
