Software Engineer C C++

Our client is the world's leading computer components company seeking a strong Software Engineer to work on medial player features.

Responsibilities will include:

- Participating in product development
- Developing, unit testing and documenting media player applications
- Contributing to functional and security reviews
- Working closely with Software Vendor development teams and Media Companies to implement product features

Requirements:

- 4+ years of related work experience
- Fluency in C and C++ and Object Oriented methodologies
- Understand basics of Video and Audio processing (encode/decode) technology
- Familiarity with DirectShow, Microsoft Media Player, Windows Media Player plug-ins and Microsoft Media Foundation a must

Nice to Have:

- Windows.NET experience a plus
- Knowledge of security development life cycle a plus
