Software Engineer C# .NET

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - CHANDLER, AZ - CONTRACT

Our client is the leading computer components manufacturing company seeking a SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to be responsible for support and development of decision support solutions. These solutions use Agile/Scrum methodologies to plan/execute the clients software development. The Engineer will be assigned to a Scrum team which will determine his/her work priorities. The individual will be expected to deliver results within the Scrum framework.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years required, 5-10 years preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience developing C#/.NET solutions using Object Oriented Design methodologies
- Experience with pattern development (ie Factory, MVC, etc.) required to integrate quickly into existing architectures/frameworks
- Experience with Microsoft SQL 2008/2012
- Ability to write stored procedures and functions as well as understand/navigate existing database schemas
- Strong verbal and written communication required to work in a global team
- B.S. in Computer Science, Math, EE, IS or similar (Masters preferred)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Experience with CruiseControl.NET, Ruby, and Subversion (components of the automated build infrastructure)
- Experience building decision support solutions with Embedded linear programs and/or heuristic algorithms
- Experience with supply chain (specifically planning) methodologies
- Microsoft Certifications, ie MVP Solution Architect, etc.
- Expertise with relational database management systems such as Oracle
- Experience with Agile/Scrum processes

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
