Software Engineer (AWS)

We are currently searching for three SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (AWS) to work in The Hague, The Netherlands for 12 months plus extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client in Oil and Gas.

The Software Engineer is part of a SCRUM team as a developer and working with the team (developers, product owner, and scrum master). The developer is responsible to execute detailed engineering activities to successfully deliver the IRM Investigation Platform. He/she will be working to design, build and test various components (such as collectors, stream processing, and data formatting) according to Agile project methodology, according to SCRUM ways of working.

The ideal candiddate has knowledge and experience with AWS:

- Able to develop and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure environments and components. Experience with AWS big-data toolset (Apache Hadoop/Spark, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, EMR, or;
- Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation including infrastructure as code, subnets, routes, network access control lists, NAT, gateway, and host based Firewalls.
- Software Engineering experience: knowledge of version control, automated deployment, bash, SSIS.
- Develop and deploy Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure environments and components.
