Software Engineer - ASP.Net Agile Developer - £35,000 circa

ASP.Net developer that has experience working in an Agile environment is needed to join an innovative and highly organised team of Developers, where you will be responsible for collaborating with senior-level staff to develop, test and deploy critical business applications using the .NET framework 2.0/3.5 and SQL Server technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Analyse performance of software interfaces and identify alternatives for optimising
- Apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
- Participate in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting software.
- Provide assistance and routine consultation to users in the development or operating systems and software.
- Plan and execute software version upgrade releases and custom interfaces.
- Collaborate with others to develop alternative system and software designs.
- Agile and Scrum with XP Programming (TDD and pair programming)

Required Skills:

- 2+ years development experience with the Microsoft .NET platform, including C#, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET - Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SQL.
- Experience developing commercial web applications.
