Software Engineer - 6 Month Contract

SOFTWARE ENGINEER - 6 MONTHS - LIVINGSTON

A fantastic opportunity has came up within one of the leading IT managed services companies in Scotland. They are now on the lookout for a Software Engineer for a 6 month contract that will be based in Livingston. This need has arisen due to a large project coming on board with a large blue chip client.

You will be part of a very dynamic and experienced software specialist team, who have a extremely wide skill set and strive to complete all project deliverables in a top quality nature.

Rate: £280-£320 p/d

Length: 6 Months

Location: Livingston

SKILL SET:

- Experience in Linux development (preferably Ubuntu)
- Experience in C / C++
- Experience in scripting languages ideally Python/Perl/PHP
- Experience in PostgresSQL or SQL database
- Experience in EXTjs , Django , JavaScript
- Web security

This is a fantastic role for a person to really get to know a business, as this is likely to last a lot longer than 6 months. This role will be working along with a huge blue chip client who offer a fantastic contractor package.
