The client I am recruiting for leads the market in sensing and monitoring solutions, specialising in smart engineering for extreme environments. With over 60+ years of sensor and system expertise they are trusted by original equipment manufacturers around the world.
Role
The client would like to implement EtherNetIP (priority 1) and ProfiNet (priority 2) fieldbus protocols on one of its existing products for the Energy market.
Main Tasks:
*Defining fieldbuses specification based on customer technical requirements
*Integrate and test ProfiNet and EtherNetIP stacks (Hilscher) in current solution
*Configure ProfiNet and EtherNetIP
*Testing and validate solutions
*Manage Certification aspects
*Release Generation, Debug and Testing
*Documentation
Deliverables:
*Fieldbus specification
*SW code
*Configuration files
*Test plans and test reports
*Design Documents
*Reports
Essential Skills:
*Embedded Linux developer (C code)
*EthernetIP fieldbus knowledge
*ProfiNet fieldbus knowledge
*Hilscher netx network controller
*ProfiNet GSDML and EtherNet/IP EDS files
Desirable Skills:
*TI Omap processor
*Siemens PLC, Siematics software
*Profisafe
