Projektbeschreibung
My client, a well-known supplier of vibration, speed, dynamic pressure, ice detection, and fluid monitoring systems for civil, military, and rotor-craft applications based in Switzerland is currently seeking an experience Software Engineer to join their team.
Background and current situation
The schedule for the project requires a Certifiable Software by the end of 2016. Progress report monitoring shows that with the current resources this will not be possible, therefore additional resource is required.
Objectives:
To find a contractor with DO-178 experience in Low-Level Requirement development and verification.
Main tasks:
Work Package 1 - Code review:
*The module source code instructions shall be reviewed to identify shortcoming and potential robustness problems. List of Modules to be documented and verified.
*AVM: Communication with the AVM DSP
*MPM: Communication with the MPM board
*Measure:Post processing of engine Speed and Vibration signals resulting from the Signal Processing of Tachometer and Accelerometer input signals (CBIT, conditioning in SPI messages).
*Scheduler: Control of the execution modes of the EVM SW.
*BIT: Management of the specific control flow involved in the BIT pattern defined for the EVM SW.
Work Package 2 - Development of Low Level Requirements:
*The prototype code shall be documented (from a module client perspective) by the development of Low Level Requirement describing how the module is handling client requests/signals.
*Traceability between resulting LLRs and code instructions shall be added in the source code.
Work Package 3 - Development of Low Level Requirement Tests:
*Test procedures and test scripts shall be developed and executed to verify the Low Level Requirements produced by Work Package 2.
*Structural coverage shall be performed to identify missing tests, missing LLRs or dead/deactivated code.
Deliverables:
Deliverables are related to activities above in a DO-178 context, meaning for both boards:
*Work-package 1: Quality Review Form (QFO-013)
*Work-package 2: Sections in Design document SWDD-1240
*Work-package 3: Sections in Unit test document UVTP/R-1237
Domain skills (must have):
*Experience in Software Design and Testing
*C language
*Practice of DO-178B and/or DO-178C standard
Domain skills (nice to have):
*DOORS
*Knowledge Code Composer Studio development environment
Soft skills (behavioural and interpersonal):
*Objective focused (within quality and delays),
*Flexible (to adopt development and verification procedure used in the EVMM project)
*Quick reporting when facing issues
