Software Engineer

SOFTWARE ENGINEER - C++, LINUX, AGILE LIFECYCLE, REAL TIME

A Software Engineer with C++, Linux, Agile Lifecycle and Real Time experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Yeovil.

This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence business.

OVERVIEW OF THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

A software engineer is required to support development, re-hosting and delivery at our clients office in Yeovil. Whilst working with a synthetic training solution. Knowledge of the Agile software life cycle would be beneficial for any candidates. Knowledge and application of the complete software life cycle would be a key requisite for any candidate.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER

- C++
- Linux
- Knowledge of Real Time Systems
- Knowledge of Avionics
- UML
- Formal Verification
- DDS - would be an advantage

The role is based in Yeovil, Somerset - commutable from Bristol, Bath, Trowbridge, Warminster, Frome, Salisbury, Blandford Forum, Dorchester, Weymouth, Exeter, Taunton, Bridgwater and Weston-Super-Mare.
