Software Engineer

Advantage Resourcing are currently seeking Software Engineer for an established Military and Defence organisation. This is a 12 month contract role for £37/HR/LTD to start ASAP. 5 days/wk 37hrs.

For this position the candidates will have to undergo full security checks so please bear this in mind before applying for the role.

The Candidate will be working on one of the company's air bases in Warton within their IT function.

Objective

Working as a Software engineer within the Typhoon Avionics Team involving testing and coding for existing designs and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:-

*Development of Risk Class 2 App Software using Ada language
*Use of HOOD for development design
*Using DOORS for requirements capture
*Investigate and resolve problems raised during integration and formal acceptance.
*To participate in continuous improvement.

Skills Required:-

*Experience of Ada, HOOD
*Methodical approach to integration and testing
*Experience of requirements/capture, DOORS
*Knowledge of Software development environments
*Good team working
*Problem solving
*Ideally with a background in Defence
