Software Engineer

My client is currently looking for a SOFTWARE INTEGRATION & VALIDATION LEADER. My client produces home and office automation systems based on a custom wired bus protocol. In addition, they are exploring new wired and wireless systems for connecting devices in the home. These products contain processors that range from tiny microcontrollers without operating system to multi-core ARM-based systems running Linux. All these devices are programmed in C, although there is also a little bit of C++ and Scripting on the ARM/Linux devices.

In addition to the Embedded software in the products, the customer also develops PC software and mobile apps to support programming, configuring and controlling the system. This software evolves together with the new features in the Embedded products. The core of this software is developed in C#/.NET, while the GUI uses various target-specific languages. They are currently looking for someone who has good Embedded skills, Linux, Arm, TCP, VOIP or SIP, .NET and C#.
