Software Engineer

The qualified candidate needs to be familiar with Embedded development in a DSP based Real Time system including setup and use of the tools in this environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Experience with data acquisition and Digital Signal Processing
- Experience with software development using C in Real Time Embedded environment
- Experience with DSP programming in a Real Time Embedded system.
- Have familiarity with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering through design, implementation and testing.
- Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms
- Design and build strong testing infrastructure to minimize dependency on hardware availability
- Leverage DFR for software, Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life cycle.
- Work with global cross functional teams to gather requirements and voice of customer for the design and develop new and innovative solutions.
- Participate in technical design reviews to improve software quality and ensure that the correct design decisions have been made.

Qualifications/Requirements

- BS/MS Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience with the TI family of DSP devices (55xx series)
- 7+ years of product development experience.
- Project leadership experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as Clear-Case
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
- Must be willing to work in our Tower Avenue facility full-time
