Software Engineer

Software Engineer required for a leading global aviation company based in Cheltenham. The candidate will be required to deal with technical reviews, documentation updates and rig based verification activities.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:

- Significant amount of rig based verification.
- Update/Author integration test scripts (Includes peer review of integration scripts).
- Documentation updates and reviews.
- Raising problem reports and implementation.
- Managing own tasks and providing daily status to team lead.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

ESSENTIAL:

1) Ability to author/update document reviews.

2) Update and author verification scripts. Execute manual written instructions on a rig. Good integration skills.

3) Solid full life cycle experience DO178B.

4) Worked to DO178B Level A

5) Experience working with Dimensions Configuration tool.

6) Experience working with Emulators.

7) Must be able to work independently and able to manage their own tasks.

8) Must have analytical skills.

DESIRABLE:

1) Model based design experience with SCADE toolset.

2) Tornado debugger experience.
