Software Engineer

SOFTWARE ENGINEER HILLSBORO, OR 12 MONTHS CONTRACT

In this role, the engineer will lead a team to develop a secure application hardened with security capabilities. The engineer will be responsible for working with professionals to design an appropriate solution. This individual will also act as the technical lead for the development of the solution, directing peer-level and more junior engineers to create project plans, and track the team s deliverables to completion

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5 years experience (with Bachelor s Degree) or 4 years experience (with Master s degree) developing software applications producing tangible results
- Experience leading software projects, including at least 2 engineers, producing tangible results
- Demonstrated strong written communication skills, ability to create architecture and design specifications and document project results
- Experience working with stakeholders from a variety of disciplines, business, validation, engineering, etc., to develop project requirements
- Strong understanding of software development for Linux environments
- Some experience with Server Side Microsoft Windows and Android development nice to have
- Strong understanding of computer security issues, including anti-malware applications and defenses
- Skilled at leading a software implementation team
- Experience working in research environment build experimental (ie NON-Product) software
- Ability extract research value
- Ability to present research findings
