Currently we re looking for a Software Engineer to be responsible for developing software products to support BIOS validation and design-in process by internal and external partners. This candidate responds to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal software process.

ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:

- Fully open sourced "data collector", integrated and validated as part of the self-test tools. Includes all related development and release tasks.
- "Data collector" port to Chrome OS.
- "Data collector" port to Android OS.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

- Linux Kernel development
- Chrome OS application development
- Android OS application development
- Excellent software development skills with a proven track record to quickly build great product level software
- Basic understanding of PC architecture and BIOS
- Great teamwork and communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of Software Design Patterns and Object Oriented Techniques Experience with XML and .NET Data access a plus
- Chrome OS application development Android OS application development preferred
