THE ROLE Based within the Staffordshire Head Office, with frequent visits to client sites to undertake commissioning work, you will join the software development at an exciting period of development and growth. As part of this team you will be responsible for the design and development of bespoke software, PLC code and HTML type applications for use with my clients wide range of products including fiscal metering systems, remote telemetry units, gas analysis equipment and SCADA / DCS systems. You will then be responsible for the development of the code and commissioning on site. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: · Interpretation of client specifications · Production of FDS / SDS · Undertaking preparation for FAT · Assist in commissioning · Programming of PLC code · Undertake site commissioning ESSENTIAL SKILLS Minimum of a HNC in a Software or Control / Instrumentation subject. Understanding of design lifecycle Good knowledge of IE61131, HTML and WEB Server DESIRABLE SKILLS Knowledge of C&I Engineering Knowledge of ORACLE and JAVA Knowledge of OPTO PLC's and GE / MTL PAC8000 PLC's Are you looking for a new role and have experience in Software development?
