Software Engineer

Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to join our client in Chicago, Illinois.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Involved in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, database creation, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance support in the development, testing, and production environments.
- Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, implementing, and integrating SQL based applications.
- Provide functional and requirements analyses on multi-interfacing systems.
- Provide support for the implementation of interfaces to applications.
- Design, develop, update, test, debug and implement software to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure code is secure and compliant with all client regulations and policies.
- Assist and train users in the operation of applications as required.
- Provide guidance to other programmers/analysts as needed.
- Manage and provide software development support using format specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and performs systems modelling, simulation, and analysis.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software installations that meet user and business requirements.
- Make recommendations and implement enhancements to existing systems, resulting in improved system efficiencies and performance.

Job Qualifications:
- Experience working within structured SDLC frameworks, including CMMI.
- At least three (3) years of systems engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field or at least five (5) years of systems engineering experience and no degree requirement.
- Able to work flexible hours as needed.
