Software Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join our client at Scott AFB in O'Fallon, Illinois.

POSSESSION OF A DOD SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

Job Responsibilities:
- Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
- Designs, develops, documents, tests, debugs and maintains Server Side J2EE applications, Web Services, SQL queries and JSPs meeting defined requirements.
- Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
- Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software and business/mission subject matter to develop software.
- Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities.
- Ensures software standards are met.
- Provides rotational on-call support to system operators.
- Experience with broad technology assessment and evaluation, including custom development, COTS implementation, database administration, and systems integration.

Job Qualifications:
- Experience with the integration of COTS, GOTS, or Open Source technologies.
- Unix, Solaris, Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x, RHEL 6.x.
- WebLogic.
- Java, J2EE, JSP.
- JAX-WS Web Services.
- JAX-RPC Web Services.
- SQL and JDBC for Teradata and Oracle.
- WebLogic WLST, Python, Shell Scripting.
- ClearCase/ClearQuest.
- HTML, JavaScript, AJAX is a plus.
- Informatica PowerCenter, Business Objects, Citrix, COGNOS, Oracle Service Bus is a plus.
- Transportation and supply chain experience is a plus.

Special Clearance Requirements:
- IT 2 (ability to get if requested).
- Adjudicated National Agency Check with Law and Credit -NACLC (ability to get if requested).
- DOD SECRET CLEARANCE ( MUST HAVE BUT INTERIM CLEARANCE WOULD BE CONSIDERED).

Certification Requirements:
- Security + (Must have).
