Software Engineer

Huxley Associates is proud to be working for an international manufacturer of special purpose machinery within the food sector in theWest Midlands. They have an international presence that's spans over all continents and their total employee headcount is approximately 200. They are expanding into several countries and supply to major blue chip clients like Walkers. They are now seeking 2 Software engineers due to growth. The Software engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of software systems housed within packaging and distribution equipment. This will involve PLC work with both Siemens and Allen Bradley. You will also be commissioning both onsite and offsite, which will involve international travel approximately 10% of the time. You will also be responsible for fault finding and working with HMI/SCADA systems. Interested? We are looking for software engineers with extensive experience of PLC programming and must have both Siemens and Allen Bradley. You will come from a process industry background with special purpose machinery food experience desirable. SCADA experience of Wonderware InTouch is desirable, as is a background in HMI and AutoCAD Electrical. The package on offer is up to £45,000 + pension + expenses.
