Software Engineer

We have an urgent role for a Embedded 'C' Software Design Engineer starting ASAP for 12 months (possibly longer)

Mandatory Requirements:

- The candidate should be familiar with the software development life cycle and should be capable of designing software from requirements documentation and then implementing the software from the design.
- Must have worked on Embedded software projects.
- Must be very competent using 'C'.
- Must have experience with various Embedded RTOS's and understanding of RTOS constructs, (mutexes, queues, tasks, etc)
- Must have an understanding of communication protocols, (MODBUS, Ethernet, RS232, EtherCAT)
- Implemented a protocol on an Embedded platform

Ideally:

- Understand a formal design methodology.
- Experience with testing.
- Understanding of hardware.
- Subversion

All applicants must be eligible to undergo a Security Vetting Process unless cleared already.
