My client is looking for an embedded software engineer join on an initial 6 month contract. This company has expansion plans to match their aspirations to be market leader in their field.

The Role:

- Embedded Software Engineer
- Design, development, testing, debugging and documentation of software.
- Code review completed features.
- Review designs and provide feedback on architecture and overall design
- Research and design and prototype new features and products.

Required:

- Embedded C/C++ (3 years+ Experience)
- Experience of designing, developing, testing, and debugging and document software in a commercial environment
- Linux.
- Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline

Desirable:

- Experience in the use of version control systems
- Experience with Perl, Python or similar scripting languages
- Experience of writing network applications using protocols such as HTTP, TCP etc
- Understanding and use of virtualization technologies
