Software Engineer

C# Middle Tier Software Engineer
Responsibilities: The successful middle tier software engineer will be able to take responsibility for a feature; synthesize feature requirements with project architectural and design guidelines into a feature design and implementation; be able to move up and down the technology stack to troubleshoot issues.
Requirements:
* C# - Be proficient with C# syntax; be able to understand and use generics and lambda expressions; know OOP; Design Patterns (be able to follow at least, preferably can spot them as they emerge in the code); multi-threading, .Net Async patterns, parallelism.
* WCF - Experience with WCF communication across multiple products; good understanding of the fundamentals of WCF such as bindings, serialization, extensibility, etc.
* Networking - Be able to work in an environment that requires high availability, reliability, and load balancing of various elements of a software system.
* SQL - Understand the basics of MS SQL Server enough to be able to create the initial table and query/sproc designs for a given feature.
* Good Web Development skills are a strong plus.
* Testing - Understand testing and testing needs enough to write maintainable unit tests and make it easy to write functional tests.
