Software Engineer

A key client of mine is currently looking for an embedded software engineer with a good understanding of hardware design to work on a rolling contract for an initial 3 months.

Main Duties:

- Integration, Design & development of electronic sub-systems working under the commercial pressures of cost and time.
- Development of software using C++ and C# for Windows embedded XP, Standard and CE environments
- Project engineering responsibility in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including the generation of associated documentation (reports, manuals etc.) and the structuring of product data.
- Product/component testing, including field trial support for new products.
- Evaluating and fully specifying design changes.

Tools and equipment used

-Orcad Schematic CAD package.
-Office package
-Electronic test equipment - oscilloscopes, meters etc.
-Electronic assembly tools - soldering, crimping, etc.
-Borland C++ builder, Microsoft Visual Studio C#
