Software Engineer

Immediate need for a Software Systems Engineer for a 1-3 year contract in the greater Boston area. As a Software System Engineer you will perform all aspects of coordinating the development, configuration control, and system testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working across external and internal subsystems interfaces to ensure that system-level command/telemetry and information assurance requirements are satisfied.
- perform all aspects of coordinating the development and ultimate system integration of reliable flight software, which includes interface control document development, configuration control, and system testing.

REQUIREMENTS

- MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years experience in software system engineering, preferably for space-based or aerospace applications.
- Experience with the C or C++ programming language in a soft real-time Linux environment
- Familiarity with application of electronics components for aerospace electronics
- Use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, frequency response analyzers, and logic analyzers
- Possess or be able to acquire Dod Security Clearance (Secret).
