Software Engineer

The Testbed Software Engineer will perform all aspects of implementing an integrated real-time hardware/software system testbed. Responsibilities include development of machine-control software that interfaces with custom hardware and commercial test gear. Candidate will also be required to contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of a laboratory testbed which includes machine control and command/telemetry processing. Experience with COTS Command/Telemetry software such as ITOS is highly desirable. Additional desired skills include a strong understanding of how to develop high-quality re-useable code and microprocessor-based computer architectures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

- BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 3-5+ or more years of directly-related experience will be considered.
- Ability to architect software that interfaces with a hardware system based on high-level specifications.
- Fluent in LabVIEW, Matlab, C and C++ with previous experience in developing machine-control software/hardware systems.
- Experience in design of complex embedded software systems and commercial/proprietary RTOS is desired.
