ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for a Software Development Process Manager/PM/BA for a 7 month contract opportunity in Irving, TX. The Software Development Process Manager/PM/BA will act as the liaison between technical and business units on a key project at our clients. In this role, the Software Development PM/Business Process Engineer, will function as a quasi-systems analyst-project manager to document and manage project milestones including design, development, delivery, and implementation of .NET-based software applications. The Software Development Process Manager/PM/BA will NOT be managing development resources, rather the development process.

The Software Development Process Manager/PM/BA will work closely with business units to understand ongoing business needs and communicate with software development teams to ensure business needs are getting met. The Software Development Process Manager/PM/BA will evaluate problems, progress, and operations to produce feasibility, scope, cost benefit and progress reports. The Software Development Process Manager/PM/BA will also assist with functional requirement review and develop and manage project plans.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets

Software Development Process Analysis
o Project Scope/Project Progress
o Cost Benefit Analysis/Feasibility Assessment
o Project Tracking - Project Plans /Action Items/Milestones
Software Development Process Management
o Prioritizing/Scheduling Resources/Allocation of Roles
o Communication with Stakeholders -> THIS IS KEY! Must pick up some business knowledge and be comfortable speaking on conference calls during numerous stakeholder meetings.
Software Development Project Documentation
o Track/Report Milestones for Design/Development/Delivery
Software Specification/Requirements Gathering - Functional Requirement Review
Excellent English - Written/Verbal
