One of Australia's leading ASX listed businesses who are experiencing huge organic growth and acquisition now have an opportunity for a hands on Software Development Manager. Due to the level of activity occurring within the business you will need to be flexible, adaptable and have the ability to manage a team of Developers on an upgrade project. The key skills we are seeking aside from your development background are broad project management skills, ability to work in a changing environment and your work well with colleagues and peers.

In this position, your clear mandate will be to lead a highly capable team of developers and work closely with various business stakeholders ensuring successful outcomes are delivered. Your experience in previous management roles is essential as will your commercial nous.

Ideal candidates will have:

- Extensive experience in Software Development
- An understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Good organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines
- Exceptional people management and leadership skills
- Tertiary qualifications in an ICT discipline and relevant Industry Certification are highly desirable
- Previous experience of Capital Markets or Murex would be highly sought after
