Software Development Engineer - Test Job

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - TEST to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Software Development Test Engineer will be responsible for testing applications and processes against various business scenarios
- Software Development Test Engineer will also be charged with automating processes through development or enhancement of applications
- Software Development Engineer will develop integrations between IPG applications and other external data sources
- Software Development Test Engineer will also create and maintain styling for applications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Five (5) plus years developing software using Microsoft .NET development technologies, including C#, LINQ, XAML and others
- Five (5) plus years developing web applications using HTML, JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented (OO) principles and ability to apply design patterns as well as use, extend and create reusable code
- Experienced in developing complex logic reports against relational databases
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Oracle with the ability to write queries and DML statements
- Familiar with Agile Development Methodologies

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Familiarity with automated testing tools
