Software Development Engineer in Test

As the SDET in this role, you will be responsible for design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of test automation systems, the creation of software tools used to perform build verification and regression tests, and driving quality-centric methodologies in the software development process. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Expert in software quality and testing methodologies
- Expert in test automation tools
- Experience with Test Design Patterns
- Excellent coding skills in one of high-level programming languages (Java, C++, C#, Perl)
- Excellent fundamental knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and Object Oriented Design
- Strong working knowledge of operating system fundamentals
- Relentless customer focus
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience with testing methodologies for consumer devices
- Experience designing, implementing executing test cases and reporting metrics on quality
- Deep technical understanding of QA methodology and tools such as schedulers, frameworks, and harnesses
- At least 1 year of hands-on Scripting experience in at least one Scripting language like Ruby, Perl, Python, Shell Script etc.
- Knowledge of Unix based operating system and tools
