Software Development Engineer in Test

Our client is an online retail giant that has created its own complete checkout and payment solution for E-commerce retailers. Currently they are working on the next generation system that has been designed to meet the growing needs of third party retailers.

As a part of this position you will get an insight into the technical design of the checkout solution, understand the design principles behind it, and have a chance to work on some cool Java/web-service frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Extending the test framework/object model to support new/existing functionality of the product
- Strong base in Object Oriented Design and Analysis
- Writing integration tests for the components that are developed
- Writing automation to support validation of page layouts on multiple target platforms

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Results oriented person with delivery focus
- Strong background in automated software testing (at least 2-3 years of industry experience writing test automation)
- Strong background in Java (at least 2-3 years of industry experience coding medium-complex problems in Java)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good understanding of writing tests using standard frameworks like JUnit/TestNG
- Prior experience with Selenium or another web automation framework
- Experience with SCM software (Perforce)
- Understanding of web services
