Software Development Engineer in Test

Software Development Engineer in Test with a proven track record in bringing consumer products to market at high quality.
5+ years of experience in software design and development in C++ and/or C# programming.
Proven experience in test design, test automation, component/integration testing, test harnesses, test automation infrastructure and tools development.
Passion for Quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent influential skills.
Solid experience in working across disciplines and geographical borders.
Ability to work independently and self-driven and self-organised individual.

Ideal candidate should also have:
Broadcast TV experience
Development and testing experience on Embedded platforms.
A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Solid experience and deep passion for product quality and product testing is a must have. Strong testing and coding skills are critical to the role. The successful candidate must also have excellent communication skills and ideally a track record of working in an international multi-site engineering environment.

A successful candidate will be responsible for executing test plans and/or test cases for specific automated test programs. Responsibilities also include manually performing repeatable testing procedures and processes, validating feature requirements, internal state machines, hardware product or system specifications, interpreting and modifying code as required that may include C/C++, C# batch files, make files, Perl scripts, queries, stored procedures and/or triggers, writing automation test scripts for simulating user interactions such as data entry, menu selections, mouse actions, data I/O, writing API level test scripts for lower level validation and White Box testing purposes. Requires application level configuration skills.
