Software Development Engineer - Dublin - Fantastic RATE

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER/.NET/C#/CLOUD/AZURE/IPTV/SILVERLIGHT

We are currently recruiting for a Software Development Engineer, to work for a large mobile telecoms client, with the role to be based in Dublin.

Our client is looking to expand a new area of their business, which involves IPTV and Internet TV solutions, so an engineer that comes from this background and HAS EXPERIENCE OF SILVERLIGHT AND/OR CLOUD AND/OR WINDOWS AZURE PLATFORMS, WOULD BE IDEAL.

This job specification is for a Software Development Engineer with excellent OBJECT ORIENTED DESIGN and software development skills. The successful candidate must have great communication skills. EXPERIENCE WITH LARGE SCALE COMMERCIAL WEB SERVICE DEVELOPMENT, IDEALLY CLOUD BASED, IS A BONUS.

As a Software Development Engineer you will be required to understand and have working abilities with the following areas:

Experience developing applications using Web and .NET technologies, including:

- Experience with C# AND .NET SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT. EXPOSURE TO CLOUD BASED TECHNOLOGIES, LIKE WINDOWS AZURE
- An interest in software design methodologies, like Design Patterns
- Experience in working across disciplines and geographical borders.
- JSON-based service development using REST/.NET Web API
