Software Development Engineer - ASP.NET, C#, Cloud Technology, Windows Azure

A global telecommunications company are looking for several highly experienced Software Development Engineers to join their team on a 12 month initial rolling contract.

The Software Development Engineers would be assisting in developing their next generation IPTV solutions, a recent Microsoft acquisition, someone who is experienced with building and testing applications on the .NET platform, and ensuring that the features built are of a high quality and meet the visual and interaction designs where required. The client are after experienced C# and ASP.NET developers who also have extensive automation testing experience with the likes of nUnit and MS Test. This would be working on the Windows Azure cloud platform hosting a new market-leading IPTV product.

Key responsibilities:
*Specification, architecture, design, development, unit testing and integration for their next generation IPTV server products based on Windows Server and Windows Azure.

The core skills required are:
*C#
*ASP.NET MVC
*JavaScript
*JQuery
*Knockout
*Experience of automated testing frameworks (eg MSTEST, nUnit)

The preferred skills are:
*CSS
*HTML
*BDD/TDD
*Windows Azure
*MongoDB
*Node.JS
*Agile development with Scrum
