A global telecommunications company are looking for several highly experienced Software Development Engineers to join their team on a 12 month initial rolling contract.
A leading telecommunications client is looking for a Software Development Engineer to take part in developing their next generation TV solutions joining a recent Microsoft acquisition. This job specification is for a Software Development Engineer with excellent Object Oriented Design and software development skills. The successful candidate must have great communication skills. Experience with large scale commercial web service development, ideally cloud based, is a bonus.
Key responsibilities
* Specification, architecture, design, development, unit testing and integration for their next generation IP television server products based on Windows Server and Windows Azure.
Required experience and qualifications:
* A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
* 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented software design and development.
* Familiarity with web technologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent influential skills.
* Passion for quality.
* Ability to work independently and be self-driven.
* Experience with C# and .NET software development.
* Exposure to cloud based technologies, like Windows Azure.
* An interest in software design methodologies, like Design Patterns.
* Experience in working across disciplines and geographical borders.
