Software Development Engineer/Aberdeen/Oil and Gas/Subsea

I am currently looking for a Software Engineer urgently. I am working with an Oil and Gas service company in Aberdeen who are looking for two Software Engineers to join their team in a staff position inAberdeen. The Role: * Assume technical responsibility for the design and implementation of software solutions for work packages * Carry out maintenance and investigation activities atAberdeenor offshore/offsite as required * Assist service support in providing support to Icon SCU and other MCS installed base systems * Manage the development, implementation, test and maintenance of softwork work within the project assigned * Ensure the work produced within budget and timescale The Person: * Degree or HNC/HND * Experience with development and programming of PLC and SCADA system * Experience with programming languages C++ and Assembler * Demonstratable experience in software engineering experience in the oil and gas industry * Sound working knowledge of offshore working techniques and ideally will have had exposure to the offshore working environment If you are interested in hearing more about this role please send me an updated cv ASAP and I will give you a call to discuss this in more detail.
