Software Development Engineer

SOFTWARE ENGINEER HILLSBORO, OR 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client is the worlds leading computer components manufacturer seeking a qualified Engineer to design, develop, implement and test Cluster Software.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop API/SDK library for the above features, sustaining and providing customer support as needed
- Develop unit tests, mock tests using gtest and cmocka framework
- Support an automated Continuous Integration system (Build & Unit Testing) for the team
- Implement build system dependencies
- Automate unit test runs in the build system
- Develop System & Resource Management Software for HPC Clusters on Linux Platform (tool to launch MPI Jobs, System Monitoring tool, System provisioning tool, System Management Admin tools development for Clusters)
- C/C++ development in a Linux platform

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 1-3 or more years of software development experience with C/C++ on a Linux platform
- Experience in Linux inter-process communication or socket programming, Multithreading programming
- Scripting: Shell Scripts, Python or Perl

DESIRED (NICE TO HAVE) SKILLS:

- Experience with developing C/C++ API/SDK, tools development on Linux Platform
- Experience with MPI or OpenMPI programming a plus
- Experience with google gtest framework or cmocka framework
- Experience with GIT or other source repository management tools
- Experience with TeamCity build agent a plus
- Experience with MySQL and Postgres database
- Experience with Apache Web Server in Linux with HTML/PHP, JavaScript or Ajax or similar development experience
