Software Development Advisor

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Advisor for a London based customer.

Role:

.Write effective, re-usable well documented code
.Design code, test and document software program for systems of a moderate to high complexity
.Interact with the various business units to gather the nessacery information in order to create design for at least one major sub system
.Develop a high level specification at the modular sub system level for software components into designs and implement such designs
.Troubleshoot and debug critical problems and resolve complex issues accordingly
.Interact with client/external interactions on technical matters
.Drive the engineering processes for the project
.Build automation, unit testing, software configuration management and application packaging
.Provide technical guidance and training
.Provide advice regarding process and policies

Requirement:

.8+ years experience within a similar role
.Knowledge of application programming processes and procedures to the completion of complex assignments
.Advanced experience working on standard application programs including coding, testing and debugging
.Competent to work in most phases of applications programming and offers programming solutions at an advanced level
.Competent to analyse diverse and complex problems
.Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills to resolve defects,incidents and problems
.Ability to define and resolve complex technical/process problems in heterogeneous information systems environments
.Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs
.Possesses basic knowledge programming patterns
.Possesses basic knowledge of network and infrastructure architecture
