Software Developer/Tester- C#, Selenium- Aylesbury - 6 Months

Software Development/QA Test Team Leader - circa £300- Aylesbury

The succesful candidate will be working in a development team of 15 people and you will be managing two testers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Strong understanding of testing methodologies: user acceptance, integration, regression testing.
* Ability to lead by example and help develop test team members through practical exercises.
* Required to lead and mentor a team but must remain hands-on with responsibility for testing a full product portfolio across the testing life cycle.
* Perform on going reviews of the QA process, ensuring there is a constant drive towards high quality products which are delivered on time.
* Experience of testing within software delivery including test automation with unit and UI tests.
* Oversee resourcing and ensuring the necessary skill levels are maintained.
* Work with BA teams and development teams to ensure acceptance tests (and criteria) for all product enhancements and changes.
* Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Experience:
* Experience of working with the Microsoft technology stack including SQL Server, C#, JavaScript.
* Good English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical colleagues
* Ability to quickly build effective working relationships with project team members, in an environment where project teams change on a regular basis
* Experience of managing an end to end quality process.
* Experience of working within a software development or financial services environment.
* Experience of setting up and managing automated test suites.
* Setting and measuring KPIs for defect rates.
* Good technical understanding of technologies such as Internet applications, databases, browser, etc
* An interest in, and a willingness to learn about, the financial services industry and financial products

Desirable Experience:
* ITILv3 Foundation or higher.
* Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server and Test Manager.
* Knowledge of browser testing including Selenium and browser compatibility issues.
* Exposure to other UI testing technologies, particularly Coded UI.
* Exposure to other test tools for performance and load testing.
* Line management skills including performance objectives, appraisals and career development.

- Automation Testing is more important than Manual Testing
- You have worked on C#, .NET
