Software Developer/Security Cleared/Contract/the Hague

ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT HAS AN EXCELLENT NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER TO JOIN A GLOBAL SECURITY CLIENT IN THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS.

THIS CONTRACT IS UNTIL THE END OF DECEMBER 2019 AND THE RATE FOR THIS ROLE IS 63 EUROS PER HOUR.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Must be currently SC or NATO cleared.
- A degree in informatics, computer science or a closely related engineering field
- At least five years relevant experience in software development
- Relevant experience in Systems Engineering
- Relevant experience in defining software architectures
- Relevant experience in software design
- Experience in programming in Java
- Experience with and deep knowledge of the Spring framework, including but not limited to Spring boot, Spring web, Spring Beans and Spring security
- Considerable experience with and knowledge of NoSQL databases and MongoDB in particular.
- Experience with Morphia for integrating MongoDB in Spring based applications
- Experience with designing web services, as well as implementing web services using Apache CXF in combination with the Spring framework
- Knowledge of and experience with modelling sensor systems in software, including but not limited to Radar, Electronic Warfare and Communication Systems.
- This includes a thorough mathematical knowledge.
- Knowledge of and experience with testing sensor accuracy of maritime sensor systems
- Relevant experience in working with distributed systems
- Relevant experience in verification and validation of requirements, eg during system tests

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Use of Scrum
- Geographic Information Systems
- Configuration Management
- Software development at the network interface level (UDP, TCP) and/or Serial Interface level
- Continuous Integration
- Automated Testing of software
- Working with a software development team
