Software Developer - Public Trust or Secret Clearance Job

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Washington, D.C.

POSSESSION OF A PUBLIC TRUST OR SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Possession of a Public Trust or Secret clearance is required
- Contractor staff must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree plus five (5) years of VB .NET development and MS SQL Server 2008/2012 experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Seeking a contractor to support its information technology programs.
- The successful contractor will work with the SAA team supporting VB .NET applications using SQL Server 2008/2012 in a Windows 2008/2012 environment.
- Provide troubleshooting of applications and databases, analysing malfunctions and taking appropriate corrective action (often in a time-sensitive situation).
- Demonstrate ability to analyze programs, data, and procedures affected by system modifications or additions.
- Provide development, testing and implement support for changes to multiple applications.
- Demonstrate ability to complete thorough and detailed testing prior to deployment.
- Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and support multiple tasks on a variety of applications.
- Provide technical support to users and other technical staff.
- May require occasional availability during non-business hours to meet deadlines.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
