Software Developer JEE

For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a:

JEE Software Engineer

Your responsibilities:

- Analysis, design, implementation and unit testing of JEE software components for the MiFID 2 project.
- Implementation of UI components with Java Server Faces
- Refactoring and extending the existing INVESTnet application
- Active participation on code reviews and other quality assurance actions
- Adhere to the Credit Suisse IT Solution Delivery Policies and other relevant regulations

Required Skills:

- Expert knowledge of Java EE application development (OO-Design, Java, J2EE-Architecture, JPA, Unix, Oracle DB)
- Experience in Java Server Faces
- Proven design or architecture experience
- Proven experience on large projects, large systems, with large throughput, high performance
- Experience of best-practices in a Java development environment (test-driven development, continuous integration, source code control)
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt
- Experience in a banking environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills (English and ideally German)
- Knowledge and comprehension of common design patterns
