Software Developer IV

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designs, develops, and implements software packages.
- Troubleshoots, debugs and implements software code.
- Adheres to structured development life cycle methodology.
- Creates detailed design documentation based on detailed requirements as defined by Business Analysts.
- Presents designs in design review sessions.
- Develops and modifies mediation modules.
- Develops process flows and human tasks.
- Develops custom data handlers.
- Creates XSLT and Business Object mapping.
- Develops work item management GUI using JSP and JSF.
- Presents code in code review sessions.
- Conducts structured unit and integration testing.
- Provides defect analysis and resolution support for system and user acceptance testing.
- Provides support for system implementation.

SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (ie, SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript). Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Thorough knowledge and hands on expertise of WebSphere Business Integration technologies: WESB (WPS and Broker), WAS and WID 7.0 and 7.5. Proven experience in modelling and developing mediations, BPELs and human tasks. Solid experience in XSLT, XML, WSDL, as well as WESB, WID. Proficient in SOA architecture and standards. Knowledge of DB2 databases.
