Software Developer in Test - SDET (with Regression Testing) Job

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER IN TEST (SDET) needed for a 12 MONTHS PLUS CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in CUPERTINO, CA.

- REGRESSION TESTING
- SDET skills
- Experience creating test automation
- Python/Java experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Scripting From Scratch
- REGRESSION TESTING
- White Box Tester/SDET will create TEST AUTOMATION AND AUTOMATED TEST INFRASTRUCTURE.
- White Box Tester/SDET will be participating in the planning, development and testing of key application features.
- Contribute to the development of test automation framework, and infrastructure.
- Work on and shipped applications in the consumer electronic industry
- White Box Tester/SDET will have or take ownership of major feature areas, design automated and/or manual test suites, and schedule test plan/runs to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
- Participate in design, code reviews, and bug triage with feature teams.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- At least five (5) years of experience in test automation, preferably using Python/Java.
- Experience with designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks and/or tools.
- Strong design and problem solving skills.
- Proven experience of working through full-product cycles.
- Experience in defining test strategies, processes, and quality criteria.
- Experience with Agile development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- iOS, OS X, or Android application testing experience.
