SOFTWARE DEVELOPER IN TEST (SDET, SDIT) - LONDON - CONTRACT - JAVA - £480/DAY

and work with a wide range of technologies, including those unfamiliar to you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ownership of Quality of test packs, frameworks, test plans
Ensuring quality best practices and commitment to quality and testing
Testing Java software to ensure a high degree of quality
Designing software that satisfies requirements, both business and architectural
Providing advice and troubleshooting support to front-line Support teams
Gathering and refining requirements from stakeholders

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

In depth knowledge of Core Java 6/7
In depth knowledge of OO design patterns, multi-threading, asynchronous paradigms and distributed systems
Experience with various Client Server protocols: SOAP, RMI, XML/RPC, REST
QA experience in Enterprise level products
BDD and/or TDD

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Experience with Java 8 and its APIs
Messaging techniques
Experience with JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL
Linux and Scripting (bash, Python)
Performance tools and analysis for JVM based applications
Spring, Guava
Good understanding of software/system architecture
